Visual Basic Programming Fundamentals

This introduction level Visual Basic course teaches Visual Basic syntax,
event-driven programming, compiling applications with the native code compiler
to create executable (.exe) files, working with controls, handling run-time
errors, manipulating form and control properties, and more. In this class
you will:
• Learn components of a Visual Basic application
• Use ActiveX controls
• Distinguish between event-driven vs. procedural programming
• Create forms and menus
• Manipulate form and control properties
• Compile applications with the native code compiler
• Master Visual Basic control structures
• Handle run-time errors
• Add database support to your application
Prerequisites: This class is designed for developers who are moving to Visual Basic with some understanding of basic programming concepts.
