Introduction to Query Reporting

In the Query Reporting course, students will learn how to create and build queries and how to retrieve information based on criteria requirements, multiple tables (table joins), predefined calculations, and runtime prompts, in which the user must enter specific values for a designated field. By the end of this course, you will be able to

• Create a simple query.
• View, run, create, and edit queries.
• Specify criteria.
• Access information from multiple tables.
• Create run-time prompts.
• Perform predefined calculations.
• Output query results to Excel.
• Filter output.
• Work with multiple tables.
• Use summary calculations.
• Perform administrative tasks
• Develop Unions, Subqueries, Outer Joins
• Identify and use basic SQL statements.
